The strong 40+ volunteer team is determined to support families with social needs, parents with guided support, youth with career development, children with cultural education, and overall helping to integrate this new community with the Australian way of life.

Claymore
- A mixed-tenure community with massive potentials.
- 1,610 New (Private, Social & Older) Homes planned.
- Significant demographic shift.
- Increased in the families with children.
- Increased in migrant families without any close-of-kin support.
- Significant shift in faith-based demographics with up to 45% new residence believes in Islamic faith.
- Most of the vacant land and community premises are owned by either Government or Landcom.
Background
Since 1970’s, Claymore became trapped in a cycle of poverty and problems. The area’s isolation, lack of community facilities, combined with high unemployment and crime rates and welfare dependency, created a social disaster within the community.
The Claymore Renewal Project (HillCroft – Landcom) is aimed at transforming the locality; but not without its challenges.Key Community Challenges
- More than double the population with 'no' proportionate increase in community facilities, playgrounds, open spaces.
- Significant shift in diversity of residents with no tailored support to bridge the gap.
- New migrant families with no next-of-keen support require significant cultural and mental health support.

Al Barakah Madrasa ,Weekday Stream — Semester 4 Starting Soon at Al Barakah College!
A weekly Quran class building fluency, memorization, and character, in sha Allah.
🗓️ Tuesday & Thursday, 6PM–7.30PM Boys & Girls, ages 5–16 ,Fees are termly, with discounts for siblings and multiple stream enrolments
